Ivan Chyr

Ivan Chyr is a Senior Software Engineer at SoftServe, with experience since August 2020, where involvement in three projects includes roles as team and technical leader. Prior to that, Ivan served as a Senior Software Engineer at Codete GmbH from September 2016 to July 2020, working on projects in the hospitality sector utilizing PHP and Golang for payment gateway and restaurant booking integration. Ivan also has a background as a JavaScript Developer, contributing to projects across cloud printing, finance, and hospitality sectors using React.js and Node. Experience as a Senior JavaScript Specialist at GFT Poland Sp. z o. o. included UX implementation and front-end development, alongside initial work as a JavaScript Specialist for banking sector projects. Early career included teaching roles at SoftServe and Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, focusing on theoretical and practical education in informatics and robotics. Ivan holds a Master’s Degree in Informatics and has pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computational Mathematics at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
