Jan Glinko

Jan Glinko is a Senior Robotics Perception Engineer at SoftServe since March 2025, while also serving as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Politechnika Gdańska, focusing on gaze estimation, meta-learning, and synthetic datasets since October 2020. Previously, Jan held the position of Computer Vision Engineer at DAC.digital from June 2022 to March 2025, where the key development project involved deep learning models for in-the-wild point of gaze estimation. Prior roles include Computer Vision Engineer at Avena Robotics, contributing to the development of deep learning models for an autonomous kitchen assistant robot, as well as freelance work involving the anonymization of aerial images. Jan holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation, and a Bachelor's degree in Automation and Robotics from Gdańsk University of Technology. Technical expertise includes Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, AWS, DVC, ROS2, and Open3D.
