Urs Buob is an Agile Coach, Agile Trainer, and SAFe SPC at DXC Technology, and they own SoftTec, where they contract in embedded systems development.
In their current roles, they coach Scrum Teams and Product Owners, assess the status of agile development organizations and DevOps, and support agile transitions and SAFe implementations.
Their past experience includes software engineering and protocol expertise at multiple organizations, such as Ascom Security Communication (2010–2011) where they developed an open access node communications router, Purple Labs (2002–2005) as a GSM/GPRS protocol engineer, SIX Group Ltd (2012–2016) as Java JEE Developer and Scrummaster, and Hughes Network Systems (1993–1999) as a Senior Software Engineer.
They earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich (1983–1988).
