Benjamin Mercado

Benjamin Mercado is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture, technology direction, and project management. Currently serving as an Architect at Softtek since September 2025, and as Director of Technology and AI at Aldebaran Software S.A. de C.V. since January 2023, Benjamin has previously held significant roles at SYE Software and Softtek, contributing to major projects like IMSS during the pandemic. With a background that includes middleware specialization and software application architecture, Benjamin has demonstrated expertise in interface construction, environmental management, and mobile solutions integration across various organizations including INAP, Tata Consultancy Services, and Universidad del Estado de México. Benjamin holds a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de México and a degree in Electronics Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Durango.
