Mayte Manrique, Ph.D., is an accomplished strategic designer, product manager, and UX researcher with extensive experience in human-centered design and research methodologies. Currently working at Softtek since February 2019, Mayte leads research and strategy initiatives to create innovative products and services. As a freelance UX researcher, Mayte has evaluated the digital shopping experience for Stage Entertainment, collaborating with Valsplat Design & Research Lab in Amsterdam. Previous roles include associate professor at UNIR Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, teaching Interaction Design, and researcher and teaching assistant at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where Mayte conducted a PhD thesis on UX design methodology. Early career experience includes software development and system engineering at RST Radar Systemtechnik GmbH. Mayte holds a Ph.D. in UX Design and various degrees in strategic design, human-computer interaction, and geomatics from multiple prestigious institutions.
