Alana Beare

Alana Beare is an experienced events manager, currently serving as the Manager of Global Events at Software AG since March 2020, where responsibilities include executing high visibility corporate events and leading planning efforts for various U.S. events. Prior to Software AG, Alana held the position of Field Marketing Events Manager at Blackboard from July 2015 to March 2020, successfully planning and executing events while guiding teams throughout the process. Alana's extensive background also includes roles at USA TODAY, where responsibilities ranged from Events Manager, Senior Business Development Coordinator, to Event Planner, managing logistics and coordinating numerous events to support sales initiatives. Alana's career began at USA TODAY as a Senior Advertising Sales Coordinator and Advertising Sales Assistant, honing skills in sales support and event management. Alana holds a BA in Speech Communications from Hofstra University.
