Bernine Knox

Bernine Knox is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Software AG since January 2011. In this role, Bernine leads legal strategy and operations, focusing on complex licensing negotiations and compliance while mentoring a dynamic legal team. Prior to this position, Bernine held the role of Senior Counsel, managing legal aspects of partnership and licensing agreements, and Counsel, where responsibilities included drafting and negotiating a variety of legal documents. Earlier career experience includes serving as Associate Legal Counsel at IDS Scheer, overseeing transactional agreements for the Americas and Asia Pacific, and as Senior Contract Analyst at GE Capital Modular Space, where Bernine optimized contract management strategies. Bernine holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Muhlenberg College.
