Pamela Dalal

Pamela Dalal is currently the Head of Data at Software.com. Prior to their current position, Pamela worked as an Analytics Manager at Fair.com from February 2018 to December 2020. In this role, they used exploratory stats and machine learning to help guide product and marketing decisions, ran and tracked AB tests to assess features and offers, and was the owner of ETLs that aggregate over 300 million rows of data daily.

Before their role at Fair.com, Pamela worked as a Data Scientist at Grindr from September 2016 to February 2018. In this role, they were part of the development team of a Python-based tool that estimated transit ridership changes in response to route improvements for the Tulare planning organization. Pamela also applied a Mixed-Use Development model to measure the impact of urban development, including potential shopping, residential, and mixed-use projects on traffic volumes. In addition, Pamela developed R scripts to estimate reliability metrics of the San Francisco Muni bus system and was the lead developer of a training course for statistics and visualizations in R for urban planners. Pamela provided ad-hoc support for company data, visualization, and modeling needs using R, ggplot, and Shiny.
