Xavier Luiz

Xavier Luiz is a principle engineer at Software.com. Xavier has over 9 years of experience in software engineering and has worked with a variety of development technologies. Prior to joining Software.com, Xavier worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Tintri where they were responsible for all phases of design and development. Some of their notable accomplishments at Tintri include developing a global center Javascript/HTML5 UI framework, backend java development for workflows such as virtual machine snapshotting and deletion, and designing features such as Tintri native disaster recovery, high frequency snapshots, and VM clone requests with multiple hypervisor support. Xavier also managed a small team that developed a VMware vSphere, Flex and Java based, client plugin. Before Tintri, Xavier worked as a software engineer at Delphix where they gained experience with data virtualization and storage products. Xavier holds a degree in computer science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
