Casey Helbling

Founder at Software for Good

Casey Helbling is the founder of Software for Good, a web application development company that specializes in developing software for organizations that aim to do good in the world. Prior to starting Software for Good, Casey was a board member at MetroIBA, a nonprofit organization that promotes local and sustainable businesses in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.

Before their work in the nonprofit sector, Casey was the founder of Clear Consulting, LLC, a web development company that they ran for seven years. During their time at Clear Consulting, Casey worked with clients such as OptumHealth, RedStamp.com, YouRankIt.com, ReelzChannel, Nearbie.com, space150, and Lominger International.

Prior to starting their own company, Casey worked as a software consultant and developer at Fourth Generation, Inc and Schneider Logistics. Casey began their career in software as a tester at Datacard.
