Rick Sanders is an intellectual-property litigator with nearly 20 years of experience in technology law. Currently serving as the Owner and Sole Practitioner at Rick Sanders Law and General Counsel for the Software Freedom Conservancy, Rick co-founded Aaron & Sanders, PLLC, to provide affordable legal services for small businesses in complex technology matters. They previously taught Copyright Law at Vanderbilt University Law School and began their career at Fenwick & West, LLP in Silicon Valley. Rick holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
