Marijn Dessens

Marijn Dessens has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marijn started their career as an intern at Telefónica in 1999, where they gained foundational skills and knowledge. Marijn then worked as a Technical Product Manager at Versatel from December 2000 to May 2001.

Afterwards, Marijn joined ThreeFive Photonics in June 2001 as a Design/Product Engineer, responsible for the design and improvement of ThreeFive products. Marijn also managed external ICT services and oversaw chip design transfers. Marijn worked there until November 2003.

In November 2003, Marijn transitioned to Apogee Photonics, Inc as an Information Systems Manager, where they held the role until May 2007. During their tenure, they managed information systems and played a key role in the company's IT infrastructure.

Marijn then joined Accenture in September 2007 as a Consultant SITE (Strategic IT Effectiveness) until December 2009. Marijn leveraged their expertise in strategic IT effectiveness to provide valuable insights and solutions to clients.

Lastly, Marijn joined Software Improvement Group (SIG) in January 2010 as a Principal Consultant, where they made significant contributions until August 2018. Marijn then assumed the role of Head of Development, a position they hold currently.
