Pascal van Eck

Pascal van Eck has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Pascal started their career as a Software Engineer/Tester in Tulip Computers with a summer internship in 1990. Pascal later worked as a Research Assistant/Ph.D. student at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 1995 to 1999, focusing on Artificial Intelligence research. Pascal then joined the University of Twente in 2000 as an Assistant Professor, where they taught in the Business & IT and Computer Science programs and conducted research in business-IT alignment, IT architecture, and IT security until 2013. Since then, Pascal has been associated with Software Improvement Group (SIG), initially as a Consultant providing fact-based insights and recommendations on software-related challenges. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Developer at SIG, where they work on the backend Java and PostgreSQL code for the Sigrid Software Assurance Platform, specifically focusing on reporting dashboards integrating software quality models.

Pascal van Eck pursued their education in a systematic and progressive manner. Pascal began by completing their pre-university education at Pax Christi College in Druten, The Netherlands, from 1984 to 1990.
