Eric Phillips has more than 20 years of experience in various software engineering and management roles. Eric currently works as a Partner and Chief Software Engineer at Software InsITe Inc., where they develop solutions for business problems related to the supply chain in manufacturing, distribution, finance, quality, and front office applications. Eric is familiar with ERP systems, SharePoint & Office 365, SQL Server, Oracle databases, PLC's, Loftware, and NiceLabel. Prior to this, Eric worked at Gentex Corporation as a Manufacturing Systems Team Leader and Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing, deploying, and improving critical manufacturing software systems. Eric also served as a Scrum Master and collaborated with customers to design application specifications. Before that, they held the position of Software Application Engineer at Allen Extruders LLC, where they developed solutions to interface with a custom ERP environment and created a Shipping Touchscreen Application to automate the shipping process. Eric also has experience at Radley Corporation, where they served as the Manager of Applications Development and Senior Data Collection Consultant. Eric was responsible for managing, implementing, training, and developing solutions for strategic customers. Additionally, they worked as an ERP Support Specialist at Boar's Head Provisions and held multiple roles at G&T Industries, including Manufacturing System Analysis and Head of Engineering/Product Development. Eric also worked as a Quality Control CMM Programmer at BLD Products Ltd. and as a CAD/CAM Engineer at High-Tech Industries (HTI). Overall, Eric's experience spans a wide range of industries and responsibilities, making him a versatile and knowledgeable professional in the software engineering field.

Eric Phillips has a diverse education history. In 1994, they attended Western Michigan University, but it is unknown whether they obtained a degree or studied a specific field. From 1995 to 2001, they attended Grand Rapids Community College, focusing on engineering without obtaining a degree. In 2001, Eric pursued an APICS Certification CPIM from APICS. In 2010, they studied SQL Server 2005 at Microsoft.

Throughout their career, Eric has also obtained various certifications. In 2013, they became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance. In 2014, they achieved the Certified Product Owner certification from SQE Software Quality Engineering.

Eric participated in multiple conferences and workshops. In 2015, they attended the STARWEST Software Testing Conference, and in 2016, they completed the .NET development stack program at Microsoft Dev Intersection. Additionally, in 2019, they attended the Engineering Airlift: AI - Value Across the Enterprise program at Microsoft Corporation.

Eric has also acquired several additional certifications. In 2017, they became certified in Windows IoT for Device Builders and Application Development in Cloud Platform for Technical from Microsoft. In 2022, they obtained the Ignition Core 8.1 Certification from Inductive Automation. It is worth mentioning that Eric obtained another Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification, but the details regarding its institution and acquisition date are unknown.
