Camelia Benta

Camelia Benta currently serves as Group Data Protection Counsel and Data Protection Counsel EMEA at SoftwareOne since September 2023. Prior to this role, Benta held positions including Data Protection Legal Counsel and Data Protection Coordinator at Volvo Cars from November 2021 to July 2023. Experience also includes serving as Data Protection Officer at Telenav, Manager Contracts Europe and Data Protection at Emerson, and Corporate Legal Counsel at Office Depot. Benta's legal career began with roles as Associate Lawyer at InSide Law Firm and Budusan & Associates Law Firm. Academic credentials include two Master’s degrees in Law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Alcalá and "Babeş-Bolyai" University, as well as a Licentiate degree from the same university, and a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from “Mihai Eminescu” National High School.
