Usman Iqbal

Usman Iqbal is a Senior Consultant, DevOps Specialist, and Information Security Manager at Softwire, where they have worked since 2011. Starting as a Graduate Developer, Usman has taken on various roles, including Customer Manager, Tech Lead, Internal Systems Administrator, and Operations Manager. In their current position, they focus on DevOps and Cloud, with a particular passion for monitoring systems, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery. Usman also oversees the company's information security processes, striving to enhance and automate operations. Prior to Softwire, they gained research experience at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust and worked as a CAD/CAM Technician at Oakwood Technology College. Usman earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
