Soil Systems restores circularity in our natural environment by closing the loop between food waste and soil health. Currently, most restaurant and hospitality food waste ends up in landfill, releasing methane, a far more potent greenhouse gas than CO2. Meanwhile, UK soils are critically depleted, lacking in organic matter and storing just half of the carbon of healthy soils. 

Soil Systems has developed an alternative, circular solution where food waste from restaurants is fed back to our soils. Using an innovative fermentation method and rapid processing, the waste is transformed into nutrient-dense pellets, that lock in carbon and revitalise life in the earth.
