Jacques Simon

Jacques Simon is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry with extensive experience in process integration and technology management. Currently serving as both Technology Manager and Product Manager at SOITEC since November 2019, Jacques leads the FD SOI Business Unit. Previously, Jacques held the position of Senior R&D Process Integration Engineer at IBM from February 2008 to November 2019, contributing to advanced submicronic technologies and 14nm FD-SOI CMOS technology development. Prior to IBM, Jacques worked as a Process Integration Engineer at Freescale and as a Device/Technology Transfer Engineer at Motorola, where responsibilities included yield enhancement and technology transfer. Jacques holds a PhD in Material Science from Toulouse INP and a Licence/Maitrise Physique from University Montpellier 2, focusing on semiconductor physics and electronic components.
