Sylvia Scaringella

Sylvia Scaringella serves as the Material Engineering Manager at Soitec since May 2025. Prior to this role, Sylvia held multiple positions at Aledia from October 2012 to June 2025, including Process Engineering Manager, Color Conversion Team Leader, and Project Manager. Sylvia's earlier experience includes research at CEA from 2009 to November 2012, focusing on the realization of ETA solar cells based on ZnO nanowires, resulting in three patents, four publications, and seven presentations at international conferences. Additional roles encompass supervising practical works at INPG/PHELMA, conducting an internship on BAW resonators at CEA-LETI, and studying materials for optical lenses at Varioptic. Sylvia's educational background includes degrees in Micro and Nanotechnologies from EPFL and Politecnico di Torino, as well as a degree in nanotechnologies and physics from Grenoble INP - UGA.
