SOKANA is a young organization with a rich heritage and offices in Europe and the US.

We are a commercial tanker management company driven by a competitive culture, with deep-rooted, specialist knowledge and close relationships with leading industry players. Linking product and chemical market opportunities, the SOKANA trading philosophy is to seek out “emergence” – a deep, cross-market perspective to build unique cargo combinations that create sustainable above-market returns.

The SOKANA lineage stretches back to 1989 when it was first co-founded by our Managing Director, Lars Ebbesen.

Re-inaugurated in 2020 as a joint venture with the Interunity Group, SOKANA launches into the future with a firm foundation of operating and trading excellence.

Trusted by major financial institutions and supported by the infrastructure of a full-scale operator with a global footprint, we integrate our twin traditions of sea and shore performance to offer the best possible return attainable in every scenario.

SOKANA is partnering with the Interunity Group, a leading service provider to the maritime space.
