Ben Chelf has a strong background in entrepreneurship and venture capital. In 2003, they co-founded the technology company Coverity, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer until 2010. During this time, they successfully built Coverity using technology from Stanford and eventually sold the company to Synopsys for $375M.
After their experience with Coverity, Ben went on to co-found and serve as the CEO of The Story Locker from 2012 to 2015. In 2012, they also joined The Veritas Forum as a board member, showcasing their involvement in the non-profit sector.
In 2016, Ben became a Founding Partner at Elementum Ventures, where they remained until their departure in 2021. During their time at Elementum Ventures, they played a crucial role in the establishment of the company.
In addition to their role at Elementum Ventures, Ben served as a Venture Partner at // Praxis // starting from September 2018.
Most recently, in April 2021, Ben took on a new challenge as the Co-Founder and CEO of Sol, indicating their continued passion for entrepreneurship and leadership roles.
Ben Chelf obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, graduating in 1999. Ben then pursued further education and completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, which they obtained in 2002.
