Trae Stephens has a diverse work experience. Trae started their career as a Congressional Intern at the Office of Congressman Rob Portman in 2005. Trae then worked as a Political Affairs Intern at the Embassy of Afghanistan from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Georgetown University as an Assistant to the Chief of Staff.

Later, in 2006, Trae became a Lead Data Analyst at LexisNexis Special Services, where they focused on international data. In 2008, they joined Palantir Technologies as a Forward Deployed Engineer and worked until 2013.

In 2013, Trae started teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, where they taught a Masters course in the Security Studies Program. In 2014, they joined Founders Fund as a Partner.

Trae's entrepreneurial journey began in 2017 when they co-founded Anduril Industries. In 2021, they co-founded both Pursuit and Sol.

Trae Stephens attended Lebanon High School from 1998 to 2002, for which no degree or field of study information is provided. Following this, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Georgetown University from 2002 to 2005. Trae obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Regional and Comparative Studies with a focus on the Middle East.
