Dave Burn

Dave Burn possesses extensive experience in governance and scrutiny within the public sector. Currently serving as an Associate at both Solace in Business and the Centre for Governance and Scrutiny, Dave supports public sector service providers in effective policy development and decision-making. Previous roles include significant positions such as Lead Scrutiny Manager and Head of Democratic Services at London Borough of Lambeth, and Founding Director of Cognize Consultancy Limited. With a career spanning several decades, Dave has developed a strong foundation in administering council committees and leading scrutiny functions, enhanced by educational qualifications in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching. Recently appointed as Interim Independent Governance Adviser to the NPAS Board, Dave continues to provide strategic support and mentoring to local authorities through Frontline Consulting Associates Limited.
