David Clare

David Clare is a seasoned professional in the financial services technology sector, currently serving as Managing Director Global Accounts at Solace Systems since February 2008. In this role, David leads the development of business within global financial services accounts and coordinates a team of account directors and engineers. Previously, David held the position of Senior VP EMEA, overseeing operations across the EMEA region, and began at Solace as a Senior Account Director. Prior to joining Solace, David worked at IBM as a Senior Account Manager, specializing in WebSphere products for major financial institutions, and at Progress Software as a UK Sales Territory Manager for Sonic Software. David began a career in sales with Westland Systems and holds a BSc Hons in Geology/Earth Science from Cardiff University and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from UCL.
