John Karlson

John Karlson is an experienced sales and technology professional currently serving as Sales Director for the US Central region at Solace since January 2023. Prior to this, John held the position of Enterprise Account Executive for the Midwest at Amazon Web Services from December 2020 to January 2023. With a strong background in market development, John was VP and Partner at ICF Next, and previously worked at Fjord, part of Accenture Song, where John served in various leadership roles focused on design and innovation. John’s earlier experience includes significant roles at GE, where strategic advancements were made in business intelligence and user-centered design. John Karlson also has a freelance background as a web design and development consultant and contributed as a founding partner at Connected Conceptions. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction from DePaul University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Management from Indiana University Bloomington.
