Peter Thomson

Peter Thomson is a seasoned sales leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Head of Sales for Australia & New Zealand at Solace since August 2017, Peter has been pivotal in promoting digital transformation and operational productivity through innovative event distribution platforms. Prior roles include Sales Director at both Solace and TIBCO Software, where notable achievements included consistently exceeding performance targets and opening new markets. Peter’s career spans several prominent companies, including Avanade as National Director of Business Development, Oakton as General Manager of Sales & Marketing, and various account management positions at Fujitsu, Informix Software, SGI, Data General, and Altos Computer Systems. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Melbourne.
