Rob Tomkins

Rob Tomkins is a seasoned professional in product management, currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Solace since March 2021. In this role, Tomkins oversees the Operate & Observe and API products while managing a team of experienced technical product managers and leading customer engagement and strategic roadmaps. Previously, Tomkins held several senior leadership positions at Ciena, including Senior Director of Innovations PLM for Blue Planet and Senior Director of New Business and Market Strategy in the Corporate Strategy Office. Tomkins also served as a Senior Manager for Strategic Projects PLM at Nortel. Educational credentials include a B. Math in Honours Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Waterloo.
