Christopher Lyons

Christopher Lyons is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a Captain with Solairus Aviation since August 2023. Previously, Captain Lyons held positions as a Captain for Jet Aviation managing a G550, and as Lead Captain at Gama Aviation overseeing a G450. Additional roles include Captain of a Falcon 900 at Executive Jet Management and a Contract Pilot prior to extensive service with Fayair from 1996 to 2009. Earlier in his career, Captain Lyons served as a First Officer with Sony Aviation and worked as Assistant Director of Customer Support at FlightSafety International. His military background includes serving as a Major in the United States Marine Corps, where Christopher was a pilot and Aviation Safety Officer. Captain Lyons holds a BS in Architectural Technology with a focus on Construction Management from the New York Institute of Technology and completed the Aviation Safety Officer Course at the Naval Postgraduate School.
