AI has unlocked a new era of deep-tech innovation across the Midwest, powered by world-class universities, elite engineering talent, and breakthrough research. We believe the next generation of category-defining companies will be built here — and we're investing before the rest of the market catches up.

Solanus Capital Partners™ is an early-stage venture fund investing in pre-seed and seed deep-tech startups spanning AI, semiconductors, quantum computing, robotics, space technology, cybersecurity, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and other frontier technologies. We back founders with deep domain expertise, grit, and tenacity — the qualities that drive resilience and long-term success — as we position the Midwest at the forefront of deep-tech innovation.

Our proprietary investment intelligence engine combines AI-powered research with deep relationships across universities, incubators, accelerators, research labs, technical conferences, hosted events, and founder communities to transform thousands of ecosystem signals into actionable investment intelligence. By expanding deal flow and accelerating diligence, we evaluate more exceptional companies with greater depth — while keeping every investment decision firmly partner-led.
