John Laird

John Laird has a wealth of experience in the technology field. From 2008 to 2017, they worked in various roles at different companies. Starting in 2008, they were a Research Assistant at NICTA, where they worked on a project to develop adaptive quality video streaming over a wireless network. In 2009, they became a PhD Student at NICTA and a Tutor at the University of New South Wales. From 2013 to 2017, they were CTO & Co-Founder at Solar Analytics, where they led the company's technology direction and development, designed and deployed robust IT architecture and infrastructure, and managed the software development team. In 2017, they also became Co-Founder at Enosi Foundation.

John Laird obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from UNSW between 2005 and 2008. John then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at UNSW from 2009 to 2013. In February 2022, they obtained an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In March 2022, they obtained an Accelerating into Product Leadership certification from Brainmates.
