Stefan Jarnason

Co-Founder and CEO at Solar Analytics

Stefan Jarnason has over 25 years of work experience in the engineering and technology sector. Stefan began their career in 1992 as a Systems Consultant at Seastar Optics/Daniels Electronics, where they implemented ISO 9002 quality assurance systems, developed and implemented company systems, and trained all staff in ISO 9000 procedures. In 1994, they became a Process Engineer at AEMS Australian Electronic Manufacturing Service, where they used Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control to reduce defect rate from 3000 PPM to 300 PPM across all three lines. From 1996 to 2004, they worked at Pacific Solar Pty Ltd as a Research Engineer/Module Assembly Supervisor. During this time, they developed pilot line processes for all module assembly processes, reduced pilot line module assembly cycle time from 2 days to 2 hours, increased yield from 80% to 99%, and reduced costs from $72 to $39/module. From 2004 to 2010, they were Technical Director at Suntech Power, where they managed utility and large scale commercial solar plants opportunities, system design, energy simulation, and product development. In 2017, they co-founded the Enosi Foundation. Most recently, they were Co-Founder and CEO at Solar Analytics Pty Ltd, where they provided a unique solar monitoring product that used sophisticated algorithms to analyse the energy generated by a PV system.
