Don Sobocinski

Don Sobocinski is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in equipment engineering and maintenance, particularly in the photovoltaic and semiconductor industries. Currently, Don holds the title of Pleasantly Retired at Zobo's Mind Adventures since March 2020. Prior roles include Senior Equipment Engineer at Solar Junction Inc, where responsibilities involved adapting Ultratech model 4700 steppers for GaAs CPV solar cell manufacturing. Don's expertise also encompasses maintenance of automated photolithographic equipment at Western Digital and Solyndra, as well as troubleshooting a variety of advanced photolithographic tools at Hitachi GST. With a background in technical support and customer training at Ultratech Stepper, Don holds a Master’s degree in Education.
