Currently, 600 million people in Africa live without access to electricity. When the sun goes down, businesses close, streets grow dark, and homes are lit with dirty, dangerous, and expensive kerosene lamps and candles, which are responsible for high rates of dropouts, childhood burns, respiratory infections, poisonings, and house fires. We want to put an end to it with Solar Run.

Solar Run boasts a proud history of improving lives of global population in areas with no or insufficient electricity through off-grid renewable energy solutions. Since 2016, we have dedicated ourselves to building cost-effective solar-powered systems for households and SMEs in underpowered and underdeveloped regions.

We are a proud member of Global Off-Grid Lighting Association, with certifications and industry recognitions around the world, including but not limited to IEC, Verasol, SONCAP, PVOC, COC, BIS etc. In addition, our innovative payment system has integrated with 5 mainstream payment platforms and 21 choices of mobile pocket to ensure users a carefree purchase journey.

We have faith in technology-for-good, accelerating the transformation from candles, kerosene, and diesel to equity in sustainable energy. What will remain unchanged are our designation to lighting up the globe, accessibility based on advanced supply chain, craftsmanship that changes the life of the vulnerable, and breakthroughs rooted in a scalable business model powered by green economy.
