Tyler Grimes

Tyler Grimes, M.Eng, currently serves as Facilities Manager at SOLARCYCLE, where involvement began in the initial construction and startup of a new plant in Cedartown in 2024. Previously, Tyler held positions such as Site Manager of Operations at Sheboygan Paint Company, overseeing all operations of an industrial paints and coatings facility, and Director of Manufacturing Operations at Affinity Chemical LLC, managing multiple manufacturing sites. Tyler's experience includes serving as Plant Manager at NOV with direct P&L responsibility for a concrete light pole facility, Manufacturing Manager at GEO Specialty Chemicals, and roles at Leggett & Platt and Summit Treestands, focusing on product engineering and manufacturing processes. Educational background includes a Master's Degree in Construction Engineering & Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Applied Manufacturing Engineering and Occupational Safety and Health from Jacksonville State University.
