Chris Thompson

Chris Thompson serves as the Vice President of Global Microgrids at Vertiv since August 2024, focusing on the development of microgrid solutions for mission-critical applications. Previously, Chris held the role of Vice President of Product and Technical Marketing at SolarEdge Technologies, leading various teams in North America. An extensive career includes key positions at Schneider Electric, Eaton, and First Solar, among others, overseeing significant revenue streams and product innovations in power solutions, energy storage, and solar technologies. Chris's educational background includes an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
