Rafael Fleischman

Rafael Fleischman is a System Research Engineer at SolarEdge Technologies and a Doctoral Researcher in the Physics of Solar Energy at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, focusing on the photoluminescence of perovskite photovoltaic solar cells. Previous roles include Chief Automotive Engineer at the Israel Ministry of Transport and Road Safety, where regulatory advancements for autonomous vehicles were prioritized, and Transportation Engineer at the Ministry of Environmental Protection, emphasizing the environmental impact of transportation. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at the Research Institute for Sustainability, working on decarbonization strategies, and positions at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Petrobras, and ANP, with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering. Rafael holds a PhD in Physics of Solar Energy and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
