Lukas Simurka

Lukas Simurka is an experienced professional in the field of materials science and engineering, currently serving as a Project Manager at Solarge since May 2022, where responsibilities include leading life cycle analyses of photovoltaic modules to identify environmental impacts and implementation of improvement plans. Prior to Solarge, Lukas was a Research and Development Scientist at TNO from May 2019 to May 2022, where significant advancements in perovskite thin-film technology were achieved. Lukas also spent six years at Şişecam as a Researcher, focusing on enhancing the mechanical durability of glass coatings. Early research experience was gained as a Research Worker at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Lukas holds a PhD in Inorganic Technology and Materials from Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Physical Chemistry and Technical Physical and Analytical Chemistry, respectively, from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague.
