Tabitha P.

Tabitha P. has a diverse range of work experiences. Tabitha started their career as an Agriculture Intern for the Weeds Department at the Virginia Tech Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics in 2016. Tabitha then worked as a Lab Tech, Intern, and Undergraduate Researcher at the Center for Packaging and Unit Load at Virginia Tech from 2017 to 2018. During this time, they conducted tests, ran equipment, and conducted research projects on packaging for an eCommerce wine company and the effect of layers and columns on unit load deflection. In 2018, Tabitha worked as a Packaging Engineer Intern at Newell Brands, where they researched and developed green packaging solutions for appliance and cookware products. Tabitha also worked as a Global Procurement/Industrial Engineering Intern at Grupo Phoenix in 2018, where they gained experience in procurement and industrial engineering. Tabitha then transitioned to a role as a Customer Success Associate at Specright, Inc. from 2019 to 2020, where they focused on customer satisfaction. Since 2020, they have held roles at Solar Insure, initially as the Director of Operations, where they created and sustained operational excellence, and currently as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing the delivery of exceptional customer service and contributing to the CEO's vision. Alongside their work at Solar Insure, Tabitha also became a Lean Six Sigma Implementer at The Partin Process in 2020, using their expertise to implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to improve business efficiency and eliminate waste.

Tabitha P. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science from Virginia Tech, which they attended from 2015 to 2019. In August 2020, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from The Knowledge Academy.
