Nelson MacChi

Nelson Macchi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in transaction banking and digital assets, currently serving as Director of Transaction Banking, Managing Director, and Head of Operations at Solaris SE since October 2022. Nelson also holds investor roles in FrescoFrigo (Growth) and Ilios Therapeutics (Pre-Seed) since May 2023. Prior to these positions, Nelson was part of the founding team at Finoa from March 2018 to September 2022, where contributions included building the company from concept to post-Series A. An Investment Associate at Fundie Ventures from October 2017 to July 2018, Nelson holds an MBA from IE Business School (2018) and has a solid foundation in economics with advanced degrees from Virginia Tech and USI Università della Svizzera italiana, along with an undergraduate degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Nelson's previous experience also includes serving as a Senior Strategy Consultant and Strategy Analyst at Accenture from November 2013 to July 2017.
