Cal Smith

Cal Smith has extensive experience in the technology and education sectors, currently serving as Sr. Director of Enablement and Sr. Director of the SolarWinds Academy at SolarWinds since 2019. Prior to these roles, Cal held the position of Director of Technical Training at SolarWinds from 2016 to 2018. Cal's career includes significant contributions at Symantec from 2005 to 2016 in various director-level roles related to enterprise services and education infrastructure. Additional experience includes a senior manager role at VERITAS Software, and earlier positions at Seagate Software as a manager and technical services engineer. Cal's educational background includes studies at the University of Central Florida, New York University, and Valencia College, with an Associate of Arts degree.
