So, one by one, we chose independence — leaving large institutions to join smaller firms that prioritized big picture financial planning, transparency, and a client-first philosophy. So our team came together, united by a shared mission to focus on what’s best for our clients, always.

As the financial planning industry continued to consolidate, our independent firms were absorbed by large conglomerates and private equity. So we made the choice to step out on our own. And Solas Wealth Strategies was born.

Today, we are proudly independent by design, giving us complete control over how we serve our clients, how we invest, and how we guide families through every financial decision that matters. We manage investments in-house and customize every portfolio. We dive deeply into tax strategy, cash flow planning, retirement readiness, and estate considerations. We collaborate closely with outside professionals. And if something doesn’t serve a client’s best interest, we say so.
