Beth Stare

Beth Stare has over 15 years of experience in consulting and financial services. Beth began their career in 2001 as a Senior Research Analyst at Compass Lexecon, where they conducted statistical and qualitative analysis in project areas of antitrust/mergers, damages, securities, valuation and financial statement analysis. Beth then moved to LEAF Group LLC as a Senior Associate in 2005, followed by a Senior Associate position at Guggenheim Investment Advisors. In 2008, they became a Portfolio Manager at Guggenheim Investment Advisors, where they managed portfolios for foundations and high-net worth clients, constructed, monitored and rebalanced customized multi-asset class client portfolios, and created investment analytics and custom presentations for prospective clients. From 2011 to 2014, Beth worked at Navigant Economics as an Associate Director and Managing Consultant. In 2014, they joined BLDS LLC as a Senior Managing Consultant and Senior Consultant. In 2020, Beth became a Senior Managing Consultant at SolasAI, where they use cutting-edge AI and deep industry tools and expertise to illuminate and reduce causes of disparate impact, disparate treatment, and other forms of bias in algorithmic models.

Beth Stare earned a MA from the University of Chicago in Psychology (Cognitive Development) and a BA from UC San Diego in Cognitive Science (with a minor in economics & political science).
