Allison Leake

Head of Learning Spaces & Community at SolBe Learning

Allison Leake has over 10 years of experience in the museum and education field. Allison began their career in 2009 as a Gallery Educator at the Smithsonian Institution National Portrait Gallery. In 2010, they worked as a Teaching Artist at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop. In 2011, they were an Education Intern at Philadelphia's Magic Gardens. In 2012, they were an Education Manager at The New England Carousel Museum and an Independent Contractor at Museum Evaluation, conducting front-end and summative museum evaluations. In 2013, they were the Kids in the Middle Program Director & West Bristol Leadership Academy Director at Bristol Public School District. In 2014, they were a Supervisor at Imagine Nation Museum. From 2015 to 2021, they were the Director of Early Childhood Education & Accessibility Lead and Early Childhood Education Director at Discovery Museum. Currently, they are the Head of Learning Spaces & Community at SolBe Learning.

Allison Leake received their Bachelor of Science in Education Studies from Skidmore College in 2007. Allison then went on to receive their Master of Arts in Museum Education from The University of the Arts in 2011.
