Hugh Cutcher

Hugh Cutcher is the Head of Data Science at DNV Green Data Products and Solcast, where they lead initiatives in data-driven insights. They graduated with first-class honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney, where they also completed their PhD research in combustion, focusing on experimental diagnostics of flames. Previously, Hugh served as a Lead Data Scientist at Solcast and gained valuable experience through roles such as Data Engineer at Westpac and various positions within the University of Sydney, including Tutor and Lab Demonstrator. Their extensive work has emphasized data analysis and problem-solving across diverse industry contexts.
