Michael Foley

Michael Foley is a data scientist at Solcast, where they support the global transition to renewable energy by developing high-quality solar radiation data. Previously, Michael worked at the Bureau of Meteorology, where they built a high-performing team of meteorologists and software developers, enhancing weather forecasting methods through the application of objective verification techniques. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Sydney, a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Chemistry from the University of Oxford, and a Graduate Diploma in Meteorology from the Bureau of Meteorology.
