Solchem was formed in 2015 as a result of the acquisition of a small German manufacturer of plating solutions. End of 2018, Solchem acquired the former Spraylat GmbH mirror chemical business from PPG, extending Solchem's presence as a global player in the field of electroless plating chemicals.
 
Working in close partnership with suppliers, academic partners, mirror manufacturers and applicators, Solchem is about sustainable innovations.
 
In pursue of global expansion, Solchem promotes effective business models to those plating customers in quest of high quality, cost effectiveness and carbon footprint reduction.
