Jan van den Berg

Jan van den Berg is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the CTO at Solcon, where they build and lead operational, engineering, and product management teams while focusing on product development. Previously, at Solcon, Jan held roles including Manager of Engineering and Team Manager of System & Network Engineering, contributing to the creation of high-quality internet products. They co-founded The Things Network Flevoland, aiming to promote IoT knowledge and implement LoRaWAN technology in the region. Jan began their career as the owner of SoftMate, where they provided freelance software development and consultancy services. They have earned multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's in Higher Informatics from Christelijke Hogeschool Windesheim.
