Jay Atawala has extensive experience in software development and technical leadership, spanning several decades. Currently serving as Technical Team Lead at RBCI since September 2004, Jay has also worked as a Senior Software Developer and Senior Programmer Analyst at EDS/SOLCORP, with tenure starting in 1996. Previous roles include Technical Lead at RBC in 2010, Senior Programmer/Analyst at AFLAC Japan from May 2000 to September 2004, Software Consultant at Canada Life from 1999 to 2001, and a similar position at National Life from 1996 to 1997. Jay's earlier experience includes serving as a Systems Analyst at Crown Life from 1990 to 1993. Educational background includes a degree from the University of Waterloo, completed between 1985 and 1990.
