Sole 1 is modernizing assistive wear through smart textiles and machine learning. Our soft-robotic sock utilizes predictive algorithms and responsive shape-memory alloys to assist the natural walking cycle, seamlessly fitting inside standard footwear to provide physical independence and confidence.

Beyond physical assistance, Sole 1 is a tool for continuous insights. What happens to a person's mobility between clinic appointments?

We are actively seeking relationships with Physical Therapists and Physicians who want to explore how continuous mobility data, collected safely during everyday life, can help track progress more effectively, identify decline earlier, and empower faster clinical decisions.
