David Babin

David Babin is the current General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Solera. Prior to this, they were Senior Counsel - Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Transactions at Dean Foods Company from August 2009 to July 2012, where they were lead counsel for acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and other corporate transactions for a then $13 billion NYSE-listed serial acquirer dairy and plant-based food and beverage company. From September 2000 to August 2009, Babin was an attorney at Vinson & Elkins in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities and Corporate Transactions group. There, they represented private equity and corporate purchasers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions, issuers and underwriters in public equity and debt offerings, acquirers and targets in tender offer transactions, and public and private companies in commercial contracting matters. Prior to Vinson & Elkins, Babin was an attorney at Jones Walker from January 1998 to December 2000 in the Business Section (Singapore). David began their career as a law clerk at Harry Elias Partnership LLP from June 1997 to August 1997.

David Babin received their JD from Tulane University Law School and their BA in Political Science and International Relations from Louisiana State University.
